Byron retires

At the bands Childrens  Christmas held at Blue Coat School Coventry, the band said farewell to one of its most respected and reliable members, Byron Tucker.

Byron has been a valuable member of the cornet team for over 12 years contributing to the many concert and contest successes of that period. 

On the presentation of a watch to Byron, in recognition of his service with the band, MD Dave Lea remarked "if one wanted to find a role model of a perfect bandsman, then look no further than Byron."


He will be sadly missed in the band for his musicianship, his humour and total commitment but we wish him well and every success in his new banding career.
