A very wet Jephson Gardens

The band always aims to support our local community and one of the events is to play for Warwickshire County Council at Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa. A fantastic location; when the weather is on our side. However this year the British weather lived up to traditional form with very heavy rain.

It was noted the rain started during principal cornet Player Darren Lea's rendition of 'Cry me a River' through which both Darren and the band soldiered through to the end after which a mad dash was made to dry out both persons and music.

Even though the weather was hit and miss more than 300 people sat with picnics and umbrellas to enjoy the concert. The numerous comments of congratulations for the bands performance made the afternoon all worthwhile.
