Charity Concert for Nuneaton Rotary Club

The Band was delighted to take part in a charity concert on behalf of Nuneaton Rotary Club.

Held at the Untied Reform Church in Nuneaton the band was joined by Soprano sensation Kirsty Anderson. The concert was attended by over 300 people who were entertainment with a vast array of music from the classics, big band and musical theatre.

The band paid tribute to those who have been involved, or are still involved in conflicts around the world as part of our armed forces. A moving performance of Auld Lang Syne combined with the Last Post produced a very emotional atmosphere, which for many was the highlight of the evening. Kirsty then joined the band to lead the superb proms style finale.

"The Jaguar Land Rover Band played some magnificent music" commented Peter Woodward Gregg, vice president of Nuneaton Rotary club.

The band was pleased to support the Nuneaton Rotary Club who in the last twelve months has raised many thousands of pounds for worthy charities including Mary- Ann Evans hospice, Air Ambulance, The Salvation Army and the British Legion Poppy Appeal.
